Kamran Sassoon

Co-founder, President and CEO, Kamran holds a bachelors of science in Business from the University of Connecticut, and an MBA. He was the principal Shareholder/Owner of Aectra/Refining and Marketing, a petroleum and petrochemical trading and distribution company from 1980-2001 headquartered in Houston, TX, and with offices in Jacksonville, FL and Brussels, Belgium.  After building a series of other ventures, Kamran cofounded Centage Corporation, hiring a new team of dedicated developers, an energetic salesforce and deeply knowledgeable consultants to bring innovative financial management solutions to small and mid-sized organizations.

Jack Davidson

Co-founder, Vice President R&D, Jack has led the research and development of Budget Maestro since its inception. He has over 20 years experience in R&D, marketing, accounting and sales. Prior to Centage, Mr. Davidson was principal and owner of a systems integration company.  He holds a bachelor of science in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts.

John Orlando

Executive Vice President & CFO, John has over 25 years experience in finance, accounting and administration. He has extensive experience working with both high growth Fortune 500 companies and start-up business. Prior to Centage, John served as Group Director of Planning & Analysis at WearGuard (subsidiary of ARAMARK) where he was instrumental in driving profitability via restructuring, cost containment and margin improvement initiatives.  He holds a bachelors degree in Accounting from Northeastern University and an MBA from New Hampshire College.

Anne Marie Dean

Director of Client Services, Anne Marie has 15 years experience with customer services in Financial Consulting and Training as well as Customer Support. Her career has included managing Consulting and support Departments as well as Accounting Departments. She holds a bachelor of science in Accounting from Bentley College.

Mary Bruce

Director of Product Engineering, Mary has over 20 years experience in Software Engineering with a concentration in Software Life Cycle Quality Management. Prior to joining Centage Mary held positions as Senior Manager, Software Delivery Assurance at American Student Assistance; Principal Consultant in the CIO Advisory Services practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and VP/IT at Houghton Mifflin Company. She holds a BS from Northeastern University and has both PMP and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certifications.

 

Board of Advisors

David Mahoney

David is a Management Consultant and Private Investor with a long history of leadership in the software analytics industry. He was most recently the CEO of Applix, a provider of business performance management and business intelligence software. In March of 2003 Mr. Mahoney became President and CEO of Applix Inc. where he had been a board member since 1991. Applix was acquired by Cognos Inc. in October 2007 for $350M representing a 20 times increase in market value in less than five years. Prior to that, he was CEO of Verbind, Inc. a provider of real-time behavioral analytic software and was the founder of Banyan Systems, a pioneer in distributed networking operation systems.

Ken Marshall

Ken has more than 30 years of experience in startup business planning and development, and a proven track record of growing hi-tech companies. He is currently Managing Partner at Marlborough Street Partners, a provider of strategic and operational consulting for venture financed technology companies. He also serves as Chairman for Extraprise Group, Inc. a provider of integrated CRM solutions, which he founded in April 1997. Previously, Marshall was Chairman and CEO of Carbonflow, provider of a portfolio of SaaS applications for participants in the emissions reduction market, President and COO of Giga Information Group, an information technology advisory company and President and CEO of Object Design, Inc, the leader in database products based on object technologies. Object Design was ranked #1 in the Inc. 500 during his tenure. Prior to that, he was Group Vice President at Oracle Corporation and founded their consulting services business. He sits on the board of Actuate Corp. and Streambase Systems. Marshall has a BA from Northeastern University and a MA from Boston College.
